After pick up from Tauranga Port, we tour downtown Mount Maunganui New Zealand’s most popular holiday destination and voted the best beach in NZ. We visit a working Kiwifruit orchard. See stunning scenery, orchards, lush dairy farms, pine forests, and lakes as we make our way to Rotorua. On our arrival at ‘Te Puia’ we experience a traditional Maori welcome, followed by a cultural performance that showcase’s traditional Maori dance, songs and the famous haka, pre-European Maori village, wood carving, and flax weaving. As we explore the park we get close up to erupting geysers, boiling mud and hot water pools, steam vents. A steaming volcanic landscape.

We visit the enchanting Redwood Forest, Rotorua’s Lakefront and highlights, Government Gardens and the historical architectural gem of the Elizabethan Spa Bath House. We stop for delicious lunch at a delightful cafe (own cost). We complete our tour by returning to Port via the Old Scenic Rotorua to Tauranga State Highway passing through Tauranga City, over the Harbour Bridge to your waiting ship on time on board well before sailing hour.
