Are your tours fully guided?
Yes, our experienced guide is with you all the way from pickup to drop off. Your guide will give a full audio commentary on local history and economy. We love questions! We look after everything so you can enjoy your holiday. No stress no hassle we do it all.

What is included in the tour cost?
On all tours the cost covers your experienced driver, and complientary chilled bottled water, and use of loan umbrellas if the weather is inclement. All entry ticket costs are extra, and lunch and refreshments are not included in the tour price.

What time does the tour depart?
With cruise tours this will depend on the arrival of your ship into port, we will advise you at the time of booking. All other tours will be advised at time of booking. We liked to get away as early as possible.

Where is pick up and drop of location?
If you are arriving on a cruise ship, pick up will be at the Port of Tauranga’s main entrance gate just minutes walk from your ship. Your guide will be waiting for you there. Other pickups from Tauranga airport or Tauranga-Mount Maunganui accommodation or designated location as required.

What about Comfort?
We specialize in small group tours with a maximum of 8 people. Our mini coach is spacious, air-conditioned, with an excellent intercom system, plenty of leg room, comfortable seating to make your tour a fun and relaxed day. For larger groups of up to 22 we arrange a modern luxury mini bus, ask us for a quote.

What should I bring?
Due to New Zealand’s high level of ultra violet light it is advisable to wear sun glasses/hat and use sunscreen (SPF 30+) even if the day is overcast. We provide free chilled bottle water on all tours.
Spring weather during September to November is changeable. We suggest you bring warm clothing, a wind breaker and comfortable walking shoes. We supply umbrellas if required. December to February is summertime, you need a sun block and sun hat. March and April is autumn/fall, and is cooler with settled weather and comfortable temperatures. Warm clothing is required during May, June, July and August.

Does the weather affect the tour?
No, our tours depart rain, hail or shine.

Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?
All our tours are smoke free. We have regular comfort stops where smoking outside the tour bus is permitted.

Will you have us back to the ship on time?
Our personal guarantee is to have you back on time on board well before your ship's departure. We are always on time arriving back well before your sailing time.

What happens if the ship cannot dock or docks late?
If the ship cannot dock for any reason we give a full refund. If the ship arrives late and time allows, the tour will proceed. A decision is made at the time.
